Session Fees
Rates for services rendered are based on the duration of each session. Standard individual sessions are 50 minutes (therapy hour) in duration. Sessions for trauma work (EMDR) and couples counselling can often be longer in duration however, this will be discussed and treatment will be tailored to the needs of each client.
Medical Aid: I work with most medical aids and align my fees with their yearly rates. Because every medical aid plan is different, I strongly recommend verifying your benefits and available funds with your provider prior to your initial consultation. Please note that hospital-only plans typically exclude psychotherapy.
Cash Clients: Payments for cash clients are done via Electronic Funds Trasfers (EFT). Payment is kindly requested at the time of your session or within 24 hours of receiving your invoice.
Cancellation Policy
I value our mutual time and the commitment to your healing journey. To ensure that every client has the opportunity to receive care, I require at least 24 hours' notice for any session cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to offer the opening to another individual on the waiting list.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, will be subject to a late-cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session rate. I appreciate your understanding in helping me maintain a supportive and accessible practice for all.
