I replay conversations.

I go over what I said, what they meant, and whether I got something wrong.

Maybe anxiety doesn't stop you from functioning. But it takes up far too much space.

MAYBE THIS FEELS FAMILIAR

I overthink decisions.

Even ordinary choices can become difficult when I want to be certain I'm making the right one.

I imagine what could go wrong.

My mind automatically moves towards possible problems and worst-case scenarios.

I look for reassurance.

I ask, check or search for something that will help me feel certain or safe.

I struggle with uncertainty.

Not knowing can feel so uncomfortable that I keep thinking until I find an answer.

I avoid things that make me anxious.

Avoiding, delaying or escaping brings relief in the moment, even when it makes life smaller over time.

You may know logically that some of your fears are unlikely — and still find it difficult to stop the worry.

The Anxiety Reset helps you understand why these patterns keep repeating and what you can begin doing differently.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH

What if trying to get rid of anxiety is sometimes part of the problem?

When anxiety appears, it makes sense to do something that helps you feel safer or more certain. You might worry, check, seek reassurance or avoid the situation.  These responses can bring relief. But when relief becomes the goal, they can also strengthen the cycle that keeps anxiety going.

ANXIETY RETURNS

RELIEF ≠ RECOVERY

The Anxiety Reset doesn't simply give you more ways to calm down. It helps you understand the patterns that may be keeping anxiety going — and practise responding differently.

The aim isn't to eliminate anxiety. It's to stop anxiety from making the decisions.

Six weeks to understand the pattern — and practise responding differently.

YOUR 6-WEEK JOURNEY

The Anxiety Reset takes you through a structured progression. Each week builds on the one before it, helping you move from understanding anxiety to changing how you respond when it shows up.

WEEK 1

Understanding Anxiety

Understand what anxiety is, how the protective system works, and begin mapping your own anxiety cycle.

ANXIETY ≠ DANGER

WEEK 3

Worry, Overthinking & Uncertainty

Explore worry, reassurance seeking and the need for certainty — and begin practising a different response.

UNCERTAINTY ≠ DANGER

WEEK 5

Working With Anxiety in the Body

Learn practical ways to respond to physical anxiety without making the elimination of discomfort the goal.

DISCOMFORT ≠ INABILITY

UNDERSTAND → NOTICE → EXPLORE → PRACTISE → APPLY → REFLECT → BUILD

A structured process designed to turn psychological knowledge into skills you can use in everyday life.

WEEK 2

Your Anxiety Cycle

Recognise anxious predictions, thinking patterns and safety behaviours that may be keeping the cycle going.

THOUGHT ≠ FACT

WEEK 4

Stop Letting Anxiety Make the Decisions

Understand avoidance, build an approach ladder and use behavioural experiments to learn through experience.

CONFIDENCE COMES FROM DOING

WEEK 6

Building Your Calm Mind

Bring everything together into a personal toolkit, recognise early warning signs and create a plan for maintaining progress.

ANXIETY DOESN'T HAVE TO BE IN CHARGE.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Developed by a Clinical Psychologist

Hi, I’m Nadia.

I’m a clinical psychologist in private practice, and I created Calm Mind Clinic to make evidence-informed psychological knowledge more accessible beyond the therapy room.

The Anxiety Reset brings together established psychological ideas in a structured, practical programme you can work through in your own time. Rather than promising to eliminate anxiety, it helps you understand the patterns that may keep anxiety going and practise responding differently.

“You don’t have to wait for anxiety to disappear before you begin living differently.”

Psychologist-developed · Evidence-informed · Practical · Self-paced

Spend a lot of time worrying or overthinking

Your mind keeps returning to possibilities, decisions or things that might go wrong.

Notice yourself checking or seeking reassurance

You may feel better temporarily, only to find that the doubt returns.

Understand your anxiety intellectually but still feel stuck

Knowing that a fear may be unlikely doesn't necessarily stop the anxiety cycle.

When self-help may not be enough

If anxiety is severe, worsening, significantly interfering with everyday life, or you are unsure whether self-help is appropriate for you, consider speaking with a qualified mental-health professional. If you are at immediate risk or unable to keep yourself safe, seek urgent assistance through an appropriate local emergency or crisis service.

A structured way to start responding differently to anxiety.

Do I need an anxiety diagnosis?

No. The Anxiety Reset is an educational self-help programme for adults who recognise patterns such as worry, overthinking, reassurance seeking, difficulty with uncertainty or avoidance. It is not a diagnostic tool.

How long does the programme take?

The workbook is structured across six weeks. Around 20–30 minutes on most days is a useful guideline, but you can work at a pace that suits you.

Is this therapy?

No. The Anxiety Reset is an educational self-help resource. It does not provide psychological assessment, diagnosis or psychotherapy and does not establish a psychologist–client relationship.

Can I use it if I'm already seeing a psychologist or other mental-health professional?

Yes. The workbook may be used alongside professional care, although you should discuss its use with your treating professional if you are unsure whether particular exercises are appropriate for you.

How will I receive The Anxiety Reset?

The Anxiety Reset is a 92-page digital PDF workbook for personal use. Access is provided digitally after purchase.
